Researches have proved that the people whom are staying entertained despite the things that they do in in life; to their profession to family to relationships- are lesser stressed and are high in positivity. Entertaining oneself is not expensive as you all think. More or less it may depend on the personal trait. But is essentially not cost dollars! So it is highly proven that no life without entertainment can be monotonous and will lead to messier and awful situations.
