With the fast-track development of minor league establishments on a technological scale across the world of business, the UK has decided to adopt to the new normal, by supporting small businesses to adjust themselves to the digital era of business.
Under the new scheme, businesses that are suitable will receive discounts of up to £5,000 off the retail price of approved Digital Accounting and CRM software which is provided by the UK’s leading technology suppliers. While it supports the small businesses to manage their finances and build customers, it ultimately levels up to a point in which the whole business will scale up to a medium-scale business, gradually developing along the way to the major leagues.
So, this “grand” scheme took place on the 20th of January 2022, which means by the end of the year, there will be a plethora of small-scale businesses that will be developed in such ways that even the smallest will be a household name, hopefully.
However, the new scheme “Help to Grow: Digital” lies alongside the “Help to Grow: Management” scheme which was launched in 2021 to provide an extra backup for businesses in general and to get the economy to the required level.
And through this new scheme, the business giants of the UK would be advising the minor leagues on how to use this newfound resource effectively,
Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said that he wants UK businesses to be primed and ready to seize all the opportunities on the horizon as the UK builds back better from the pandemic.
Adopting technology means higher performance. The digital scheme is future-proofing our small businesses and putting the UK at the forefront of the worldwide digital revolution.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak added that small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of our economy, creating jobs and prosperity across the UK.
Digital will help them to grow and flourish by adopting new technologies that are proven to improve processes and boost productivity, leveling up their digital technology and skills.
