The past 24 hours have seen Twitter erupt with rumours that A$AP Rocky had cheated on his pregnant girlfriend — none other than Rihanna — with designer Amina Muaddi. Muaddi is also a designer for Fenty Footwear, a fashion line founded by Rihanna herself.

Fortunately, none of it was true. At least, that’s what Muaddi claimed in a message posted to her Twitter account on Friday (April 15), in which she dismissed the wildfire rumours as “fake gossip.” “I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media does not deserve a response or clarification, especially one as vile as this,” she wrote,  “I initially assumed that this fake gossip — fabricated with such malicious intent — would not be taken seriously.” Fans were relieved to learn that the designer’s and celebrity couple’s relationship has resulted in only cute shoe designs and friendship. Despite the controversy, neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky have addressed the rumours. Instead, they let their date photos speak for themselves, as they were photographed together at a Barbados airport the day after the breakup rumours surfaced. RiRi is clearly having the time of her life with her boo and is unconcerned about any online rumours.

Louis Pisano, an influencer, has apologised for spreading the false rumour that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna split up because he cheated on her. Louis apologized on Friday for making the “dumb decision” to tweet out the claim about the couple, who are expecting their first child. Louis stated in a lengthy statement: “Hi all, so I’d like to address the situation. Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received. I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it. ” So I’d like to formally apologise to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets.”
