There is a High Chance of Entertainment Giant Disney to Lose their Biggest and Most Iconic Character of all time Mickey Mouse’s Exclusive Rights by the year 2024.
According to the US copyright laws and intellectual property on an artist’s work will expire after 95 years after it’s first publication. And the First ever appearance of Mickey mouse was on the 18th of November 1928 in a Cartoon stripe Directed by non other than Walt Disney Himself Called “Steamboat Willie”. Next year will mark the 95 year and the expiration of the copyright surrounding the character. Will disney find a way to keep it beloved character within the Magical Kingdom only time will tell.
