In a video that has gone viral, a police officer from the Maharagama district can be seen endorsing the ongoing demonstrations calling for President Rajapaksha’s immediate resignation while also putting his job and commitments on the line. The middle-aged policeman demands President Gotabaya step down immediately, appearing unconcerned with his position. This raises the question of what might occur if more incidents of this nature occurred.
