The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will be hosted by Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon, and Julia Sanina, with Graham Norton joining them for the grand final on May 13. The UK is hosting the event on behalf of Ukraine, which cannot stage it due to Russia’s ongoing invasion. The all-female presenting line-up will host the two semi-finals on May 9 and 11, with more than 160 million viewers expected to watch the competition globally. Local government in Liverpool has committed to £4m for attractions around the contest, with the UK government also contributing financially. Eurovision is estimated to cost the BBC between £8m and £17m.
