After the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, survivors are struggling to find a safe place to live. At least 1.5 million people are now homeless and it’s uncertain how long it will take to provide them with proper shelter. While some have left the quake zone, others like Songul Yucesoy in the town of Samandag are determined to stay despite the risks to their damaged homes, as they see it as their home and everything they have is there.
