Tragedy Strikes as Three Women Found Dead and Two Injured Following Cardiff Night Out

Gwent Police have announced that they have found three of the five missing persons who were reported missing after a night out in Cardiff. The missing individuals were identified as Sophie Russon, 20, Eve Smith, 21, Darcy Ross, 21, Rafel Jeanne, 24, and Shane Loughlin, 32. The police found the three women dead, and the remaining two individuals were taken to a nearby hospital after a suspected crash. The car they were last seen in was recovered near the A48 in St Mellons, Cardiff. The police have yet to identify the three dead individuals. The families of the missing persons are receiving support from specialist officers, and the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been notified in line with normal procedures. The A48 Eastern Avenue in St Mellons has been closed in both directions as the investigation continues.
