Gary Lineker to reportedly returns after controversy

Gary Lineker, former England footballer and TV presenter, is reportedly set to return to presenting sports on the BBC after he was taken off air last week. Lineker was asked to step back from hosting Match of the Day after the BBC considered his recent social media activity to be in breach of their guidelines, following his comments about the UK government’s new asylum policy which he compared to 1930s Germany. The BBC will allegedly apologize to Lineker following the situation. Lineker’s colleagues, including Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, and Alex Scott, walked out in solidarity with him.
