Morocco Joins Spain and Portugal in Bid to Host 2030 FIFA World Cup

Morocco has announced that they are joining Spain and Portugal in a joint bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, becoming the third partner in this venture. Ukraine was previously a part of the Spain and Portugal bid but concerns have been raised due to the ongoing war and governance issues at the Ukraine Football Association. Morocco reached the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup before losing to France in the last four and Croatia in the third-place play-off. Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay have also submitted a joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup.
