Romanian court rejects bail application for British social media influencer Andrew Tate, who has been detained since December on charges of rape, people trafficking, and forming an organized crime group. Tate’s legal team plans to appeal the decision, arguing that preventative custody is unnecessarily harsh when other options like house arrest are available. His brother, Tristan, will also apply for bail in a separate hearing. No charges have been brought against the brothers or the two Romanian associates arrested with them.
