No Tsunami Threat to New Zealand Following 7.0 Magnitude Earthquake
The National Emergency Management Agency has confirmed that there is no threat of a tsunami to New Zealand after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Kermadec Islands this afternoon. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 22 kilometers and was measured as 7.0 magnitude by USGS.
