Comedian and TV Presenter Paul O’Grady Remembered with Fondness and Respect

The entertainment world is in mourning following the unexpected passing of comedian, drag performer and TV presenter Paul O’Grady at the age of 67. O’Grady, who was also known for his drag persona Lily Savage, died peacefully according to a statement released by his partner Andre Portasio. Stars from showbiz and beyond have been paying tribute to the ‘fearless’ presenter, who also hosted a BBC Radio show for over a decade. In his statement, Portasio spoke of O’Grady’s ‘humour, wit and compassion’ and requested privacy for the family as they come to terms with the loss. O’Grady and Portasio were married in 2017.
