Bob Lee, the founder of the multibillion-dollar tech company Cash App, and former chief technology officer at Square, was fatally stabbed near the San Francisco city center on Tuesday, according to his family. The 43-year-old man was found with stab wounds and was treated by police before being taken to a hospital, where he later died. Rick Lee, the father of the victim, confirmed his son’s death. San Francisco officials have faced criticism for their response to a recent surge in violent crime, and the latest crime data suggests that the city is among the most dangerous in the United States.
